NANO COMPLETE! I CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO POST A GRAPHIC!!! 11!!1!

I finished book 6 (and final) of my original fantasy series. Half of it's not typed yet, but that's the next job. I did write approx 81,500 words this November, as well as finish the novel (at 20 to midnight). The whole book, which I started for last year's nano, is around 150k.

The novel is verified at 58,405 words.

That's just how many I've typed. I've actually written ~67,000 words since November 3rd.

The novel is not finished. There's another chunk of maybe ~6,000 words of Duke's POV to do, then (that missing opening and) a final section to tie up all the ends of the story. I don't know how long that will be. It could be 10k or it could be as long as the other separate parts, it's only very vaguely thought out. (Chances are that this is going to be 90-100k of Haven fic.)

Still, Nano 2013! Success! Yay!!!! *parties*

I will party more when it is actually finished and normal life can resume. Cos right now? Just planning on continuing as I've been until the damn thing is done.

We don't know a lot about Max and I wish we had more of the story there. Recent comments from Lucas Bryant make me wonder if we're going to get it. Hm...

Anyway, all of this is feeding into my NaNo novel and AU!Nathan's catalogue of issues very nicely. 41,500 words. Still working on the end of Nathan's section. Big action sequences OMG the headache, why do I do this to me? Looking forward to Duke's POV and a rest from having to think up so much detail.

NaNoWriMo: 13,500 words

AU Duke has managed to pry Audrey away from AU Nathan's side for a spell. Not that I'm not having a blast with this version of Nathan, but I'm wary of him taking over after that f*D!H*!JFjf*ing last fic. Plus, Duke is a playboy superhero! Ish. And therefore needs some 'screen' time.

Still haven't written the beginning.

Am considering putting a version of ~~Comfortably Numb~~ Hellfic on ff.net because it struck me that I could actually lift both the longer sex scenes out of it entire and it would still work with hardly any other editing at all. (Which does raise some other questions, yeah.)

NaNoWriMo: 5000 words approx

Which is behind, but not too bad considering I only started yesterday, so that's 2500 yesterday evening and 2500 this morning.

I'm writing the AU Haven thing. Found my notes, but I hadn't written down as much background as I'd thought. Also I missed off the opening chunk because the clearest scenes in my head are Audrey meeting AU-Nathan and AU-Duke. I'll type what I've done so far this afternoon, try to catch up on the rest of the word count I'm behind by, and figure it out from there. I've taken this week off work like I usually do, although in theory that was always so that I could devote time to writing original fiction for NaNoWriMo.

I'm kind of wanting to take a break, in all honesty, after about 60,000 in 6 weeks, or whatever the last 3 fics add up to. But it IS NaNo, and I do it every November, and I still also want to do the challenge. Besides, last time I wrote a novel length fanfiction was years and years ago.

Is it me or is the internet really, really quiet, these last 4-5 days?
